Bg currency at the moment is Lev. (Leva - plural) .Lev means Lion in middle Bulgarian .One Lev is divided in 100 Stotinki (stotinka in singular).

It is possible to be accepted Euro in 2010 or later.

the Bulgarian Lev,and will be till2012,they do also like the pound and some shops will take it have a ball you will.

It is still the Bulgarian Lev although they have joined the euro but they do accept both currencies
