Serbia is on the warning list.

You never quoted from which country you are, I assume it's USA.
If you look at really carefully, in every country there are parts where you can feel insecure, but basically, you can be just fine in any part of Europe.
I don't know why you bet that you would feel safer in Paris than in Moscow, for example. Paris had demonstrations and street violence not so long ago.

Everywhere in Europe has crime. It all depends on where you walk. Id say the most dangerous place ive been to is belgrade or Moscow. Germany and my country Spain are very Safe. England is pretty safe. Just stay away from areas where you do not see alot of people. Also becareful how you dress. Make sure you have some sort of sense of style. Please dont be loud and atleast try to speak out language. If you make an attempt we will gladly speak english back to you. Its a respect thing.

I'd say most are safe if you stick with the public, but I think dangerous would be Moscow BUT im not saying everyone. Just some people I think. Im not a girl though.

I am a single female who travelled thru Paris, Italy, Amsterdam ,Belgium, Ireland Czech Republic, Croatia and Slovenia by myself!!! I had no problems in these places, but I was sensible, tending to stay close to my accommodaiton at nights ( preferring to get up early and get back early, then relax in the eveings and sleep well)......

I would also not feel safe in Russia, and I was dubious about going to Turkey by myself...but I want to go back and see Romania, Hungary and Poland and feel happy travelling by myself in these places........
Just keep your eyes open and be sensible!!!

Yugoslavia, Kosovo, Albania.... but hey everywhere is dangerous if you look a little more... like some parts of Brooklyn or LA...

Italy has a lot of crime pointed toward tourists. After Natalie I'm not sure the Caribbean Islands are a good choice.
