We don't have enough Africans to truly hate them. The number one ethnic group that is hated in Russia would have to be either Chechens or Azerbaijanis. (religion, extremism, skin color). Tadzhiks and Uzbeks are generally disliked as well.(illegal immigration, religion, physical appearance) Georgians and Armenians are hated less because they are at least the same religion as us.

First of all, illegal immigrants are disliked: Tajiks, Azerbaijanis, Georgians form the majority of illegal immigration in Russia (they are "the Mexicans" there). It's typical and common not only for Russians, but for Americans, too.

Then, the Chechens, because of their extremism and terrorism.

Generally, people with darker skin color, like Africans and Arabs. The Africans are associated with Nigerian drug dealers and AIDS, the Arabs with Islamic extremists.

Unfortunately there are these psycho bunch of Russia Russians (as Ms. teen South Carolina pointed out in her example, US Americans ^_^) called "skinheads" who have been targetting Azerbaijanis, Africans, Asians and even latinos. .

If you are looking for radical extremist generalization you will find it there. Their standards differs from one Russian to the next. Come across one sicko and you can be killed just for your looks or you will be let alone. I don't know why there has to be an "aggressive" dislike amongst peoples most prevalent there. You can't expect one country to be say, "Purely Russian" or "Purely Chinese", but you don't go out of your way to harm them or dislike them purely because your religion differs from them or they aren't your kind.

A friend of mine who lives there tells me that, there seems to be this intense dislike or hate in someone who isn't Russian or what they think a Russian should be (Kinda like the Nazis, only it's the populace) amongst the people.

They even beat up their own gay citizens or shun some women for being mail-ordered brides. Overall a majority of them dislike anything that goes beyond what they think is their "norm" and the others couldn't care less.

be happy you dont live here in America ! 20,000,000 or more mexicans and illegals of all types and much more comeing! my town I live in is being taken over and its not safe! also terrorists here allready

Russians hate the arabs in the south. They call them blacks even though they are white.

What kind of questions is it? Not everybody are racist as you,so don't expect everybody to think the same way.Don't forget, Russia came from Soviet Union, which means 15 republics together, multiracial culture, mixed marriages widely practised. Now the situation changed and i believe, people like you helped it a lot. Your curiosity is sick!

From my experience Russians hate following people
-dark skinned chechens
-Jews
-sometimes Ukrainians
-Americans

But I think there are also a trend among a lot of Russians not to be racist or prejudiced. This is especially true of the more cosmopolitan types who have interacted with a lot of people from other countries.
