Most statistics depends on turkish identity cards, because this card has a section that typed the card owners religion. so these statistics are not very reliable. but still, the majority is Muslims, then atheists/ apathetics, then Christians(majorly armenians, then orthodoxes), then Jews. |

That's the dominant religion. |

Although Turkey has no official state religion, over 99% of Turks are Muslims. The majority of these are Sunni. The remainder are mostly Christian, Jewish, or Yesidism believers. |

It is predominantly Islam. Islam means submission to Allah, the real & Arabic word for God. Islam is the continuation of same religion of Ibrahim, Musa (Moses) Isa ( Jesus) and it ends with Muhammad.
All three religions (Jewdism, Christanity, Islam) are continuation which originated from the same land of Middle East Arab. The names of the Prophets are all of the same land too, but these names were converted by the Romans and their ancestors later.(Which is wrong and thus confused / distorted many followers.) All real names are NOUN (according to grammer) and cannot be changed or translated to other names from the original. Any person with a name is same person in any country or language..his name would not be changed to other names whether he is in Russia or South America or Western nations. The real names were also, all "Middle Eastern" names which were converted to "Jesus, Moses, David etc. In the Middle Eastern languages there are / were NO such names as English or Roman names. |

The religion of the Turkish people in Turkey is widely Islam, therefore they are Muslims. You will find other religions in Turkey too but they don`t add up to a considerable number.
There are also atheists and satanists, may God do away with the latter and protect us from their evil. |

Most Turkish people are muslims, but not all of them follow the religion or are strict Muslims.
Lots of Turkish people do not drink, which is what Muslims are not allowed to do. They can't eat pork either.
There are lots of Mosques in Turkey, and most of the elder generations are stricter Muslims and pray for the 5 times a day.
Hope this helps :) x |

Yes, that's right: The religion of Turkey is Muslim.
However, you will find that not many of them actually follow their religion, I would honestly say they are hipacrits, and don't have the right to call themselfs Muslim. |
