Hello dear!
February is the coldest and most humid month in Greece. Temperatures drop to zero degrees Celsius, low thirties Fahrenheit, in Athens and around there. In North they get even lower. In the South, like in Crete, it drops to forties.
So, it depends where you are going to be.
How long are you coming for and from where? I ask this because on the answer what to bring depends, although you can find anything in Greece!
Enjoy!

It's pretty chilly. It's normally somewhere in the 30's and 40's and it's wet. Take a variety of cool weather clothing and something for rain.

Greek Oracle
Greece has several different climates. The best source of information is the http://wunderground.com/ if you know the place you'll be visiting.
For example the weather on the 1st of February in Heraklion Greece can be found at:

It is very cold. Don't make the mistake of assuming that because you see pictures of Greek Isles that are always sunny that that is how it is year-round. I studied there two years ago and made that mistake myself. Bring a heavy jacket (black--the Greek's favorite color to wear) and cardigans to wear over your clothes. Layering makes it easy to pack, and easy to take clothes off if it is unseasonably warm. Also, it is very wet in February until almost April, so I would have an umbrella as well.

What gina said. Similar to California in February. But even colder. Plan on going to clubs or tavernas at night.

I am Greek and I can tell you for sure that temperatures can reach below zero in February and get really heavy snowfalls even in the centre of Athens...Yes they could reach 18 celcius as well on a sunny day (although only if you put a thermometre under the sun) but as soon as the sun disappears you freeze. Sometimes March is even worse than any winter month...

Make sure you bring warm clothes with you and yes...definitely your shades. Noone in Greece leaves the house without sun glasses! Even on a cloudy day. lol

It is cold and wet in the mainland with snow in mountains. The inland is same but has a few sunny days.

hey! have anyone of you actually were in Greece in February??
It is cold but not zero degrees Celcius...give me a break!! The weather is quite unpredictable...the high temperatures range from 10 to 18 degrees celcius in Athens. It is advisable to have a coat and carry an umbrella because you never know. If you go in the mountains, expect to be colder. If you are not used to cold (as me for example, wear thight underneath your pants). And lastly...always carry sunglasses because most of the time the sun is around!!! lol
