I would say winter, too, as I love the snow - particularly the very first flakes that begin to fall in that magical atmosphere.

But - I have to say I love autumn also. After the long, hot summers we've had in recent years in the UK, the very first hint of a chill in the air is so welcome. Then I get excited about the frost in the air, the dried leaves to walk through, and the prospect of Christmas. (I'm still a child at heart.)

Unfortunately, once New Year has passed, it's all rather grim and dirty...

Edit: I don't think of winter as "dead" but as "sleeping". All those new little shoots snug underground, and all that unseen work going on in its quiet season, getting ready to burst forth when the time is right.

Living in a city which can compete with hell in summers, I hate summers. Really hate them. It's humid, sticky and too hot. You can't even go out in daytime. All you can do is just sweat, shower and sleep during the day.

My favorite season is late fall. November is the best time of the year for me. Because it's still very hot in September and October here. But in November it starts to cool off a little. Also, I love February in my city due to personal reasons and the weather :) In February we get very dry, cold weather (in my city's standards). Clear blue skies, not too cold, not too warm. Perfect.

I wish we had snow so I could say 'winter', but we don't even get enough rain in winter. Just some cold and windy lousy days. Actually I love rain because it turns Cyprus green. I would say my favourite time in Cyprus is February (although some days it's unbearable) and March. That is when our island displays all shades of green and the countryside is so colourful with wild flowers. For some that would be spring, even summer, for Scandinavians. I don't like summer here because it's hot as hell (40-45Celcius). Autumn is not bad, but it is so dry and colourless.

Spring time . It's a sakura season in Japan. Sakura has always been the traditional sign of spring. And they truly are beautiful. The trees go straight from empty branches to nothing but pale pink flowers, with petals that float in the wind. Just seeing one tree does it no justice though - Most places in Japan have TONS of the trees around. It`s like you go from dismal winter into an explosion of spring color. Something you have to see to believe.

i do not like summer!
well sure i love being out of school so i do like summer a little and i do like being tan.
but i love being cold and hate being hot i love the snow and the rain is my favorite thing ever!
when people say the weather is so bad right now i'm always like what are you talking about it's great..its raining!

Not cold, not hot because I hate them both. I like spring too but I also have pollen allergies so it becomes unbearable sometimes.

Not much of a winter lover here... Yes, I really like when it snows, I like watching the snow flakes fall... But the dry cold and slippy streets overcome my love to winter..

About spring, I love walking in the rain, I love watching how the nature awakens... But hate the pollens... My allergies make me "hate hate hate" spring... Poor me, I can't even walk on the street without sneezing..

Summer time. The time that my allergies just fade away, and it is still "fresh" everywhere... But it is really boring to go work when it is toooo damn hot... Have to shower everyday, sometimes twice...

Well here we come to my favorite... sweet autumn....
I have nothing bad to say about it.
No allergies, not too hot, not too cold...
Everything is just perfect....
It is now a pleasure to walk outside...

I love winter time, but for some reason my favorite season is spring
I like Spring because its not too cold and its not too hot, its warm with a cool breeze. Its a relaxing feeling. People are usually more energetic during this time because of the change from winter to spring. Plus my birthday is in the spring so i can get gifts. But, the bad thing is that my b-day reminds me that i'm getting older which i don't like.
