What is your favourite Turkish proverb and why?

Yesterday I read a really nice Turkish proverb, something like:
No road is long if you're walking with good company.
Am eager to learn some more good ones! (and please translate them in English ;))

Lol, HFC, that's "every lamb is hung by its own leg", after the habit of hanging sheep by their legs, (explanation is for the questioner) meaning you're all by yourself if you are in a difficult position and you have to overcome it all by yourself... something like that.

The following are not a traditional proverbs, but have become very traditional among our politicians:

"Yesterday is yesterday, and today is today", meaning you can change ideals if it suits you, any time you like, any way you like. It is Demirel's saying and Mr.Erdogan and co. has used it very successfully, too.

There was another "Demirel proverb", I guess, "you can't wear down roads by walking on them", he had used it about protesters against him, meaning they can walk however they like, he just will keep doing what he likes. That's exactly what Erdogan is doing, too.
