full of culture, beauty, really interesting architecture.
if you ever go, you need to go to the sacre coeur, the view is so amazing from the top of there. |

Venezia, especially if it's out of tourist season. no dodging idiots in cars or on scooters. Great food, once you get off the tourist trail. you can walk anywhere in less than an hour. And if the city does fill up there are plenty of easily reached places on the mainland.
The art and architecture are also stunning.
luke22 thanks I'll head that way next time. Just checked the trenitalia website. |

try bucharest, capital of romania, from eastern europe
it's the only european city i know best
it's not much to see though,it's not comparable with paris, for instance
but probably you'll be able to notice a different architectonic style, several churches and monasteries, museums, clubs, few quite nice parks, and Romania is a part of the European Comunity |

Seville, Spain, because I lived there once.
Most beautiful, warm, happy, romantic place on EARTH. The sun even shines a different color there.
Details? email me. I'll tell you what to see and do. |

I just love to travel also and it's a close tie between Paris and Madrid, they're both such beautiful cities with so much to see. |

I would recommend Berlin, I lived there in the early nineties and loved the place, the transport system in the city is top notch and there is so much to do, including a good nightlife and shopping. |

I live in London, and love it to bits, so visit here!! Lots to see and do.
But when we travel, our favourite destination is Paris. Like London, a city full of character and things to see and do. A beautiful city.
After that, it is a toss up between Brussels and Bordeaux. |

Prague is nice but I've been there too often. Berlin is gigantic and I really love it there. Dresden is cool for a day or two. If I had to live in a city for a long time I'd go with either Dublin or London or Belfast. But I really love Tallinn. |

A city in Italy for sure - I would chose Venice. For romance, culture, food and the city life. |

hmm Prague and Paris have to be right up there.
For something different I loved Croatia!!! ( also Slovenia is worth a look especially Lake Bled)...The towns are small but the whole place is worth a look.
I loved Central France around the Dordogne area ( towns like Figiac and Cahors)....amazingly stunning fairytale towns scattered around the area!!! eg St Criq lapopie, Rocamadour, Autoire, St Cere....and many more! |

Copenhagen.
Cos it's the most easy living town where I've lived. There's a lot of space too, and nature.
I lived in Paris, Milano, a little bit in London and Munich |

Well, as I live in Cyprus, I still find Lefkosia (Nicosia) quite fascinating. It remains the last divided city, even though, due to fairly recent talks, the border has been opened allowing some access across to the Turkish occupied side of the island.
You can still visit some of the guard checkpoints, and gaze across at the buffer zone. Or, visit the top floor of the Debenhams store, where you can see quite clearly acrooss the buffer zone. I find it quite sad to see so many buildings that were once so beautiful, left ridden with bullet holes and left to decay as they sit between the dividing line.
Its worth taking one of the guided tours, and also visiting the old part of the town, with its quaint cobbled streets, tavernas, bars , and gift shops. |

There are more than one :
-Athens, Greece - because it's simply amazing...
-Lisbon, Portugal - because it's very nice...
-Budapest , Hungary - because it's beautiful...
-Venice, Italy - because it's so ...romantic...
-Paris, France - because it's so stylish...
-Valletta, Malta - because it's so much to learn about old times...
Try Portugal :
