I spent a month on Crete a few yrs ago. Loved the people, the food, the relaxed way of life.
Didn't appreciate the pollution of Athens, but the architecture is amazing.
The diving isn't as good as The Cayman Islands, but I was hoping to see ruins and was disappointed.

Greece is an interesting country. Each island is different from each other. Athens is full of history and famous sites, plus it's a busy city. Santorini is completely unique and breath taking. Then there are areas such as Corfu and Rhodes that you would also find interesting.

I loved my trip to Greece!! I'm Indian living in US, and I never felt uncomfortable around the local folks......the people there were very hospitable!!
Lots of beautiful people and very vast range of history there.
The food was just amazing.....Salads/Gyros/Seafood.
To my surprise, in Athens...the people were young and dressed very modern. There were a lot of places to shop and eat there.
The Islands were all charming in there own way.
The only downside to my Greece trip was the cruise ships....it does not compare to the cruise liners we have here in USA!!

Beautiful countryside with gorgeous oceans. It is so full of rich history that I would love to make it there one day. A very strong sense of culture among the people. Wonderful food. Hairy men.

On the 8th day God created...the GREEKS! So you want to know about Greece hugh? All I can say is go there...you will never regret it. In fact, you may never want to leave it. It's got it all; gorgeous people...eyes like you have never seen before on everyone! Party Party Party animals...but still very sweet and hospitable. This is the country where you will never get bored. From island hopping to drinking a frappe in a small village...there is so much to do. Also, the shopping there is like heaven, the nicest trends for pretty good price. The food...Ahhh, what could I possibly say aside from: BRAVO! the best, and very healthy...to make a long story short, the best place on Earth. If there was a heaven on Earth...Greece would definitely be it. ELLADA MOU S'AGAPO!!!!!
