I am not giving all question especially in Turkiye Section.
I am trying to read all of them ...
If I like the question, definitely, I give the answer ...

I must understand, that is sincerely question or not ...
This is my criteria...
Question can be long, it does not matter.
When I see provacation questions, I check that User ...
Who is he/she? I am reading their questions and answers ...
Trying to do understand him/her ...
Criteria again sincerely or not, he/she deserves any answer or not ...

If I do not know the answer, I am not giving any answer, just reading another answer ...

In fact, I like to help other people, providing my knowledge, trying to give some good advice, even if if the question is not absolutely relevant to the section...
Sometimes it's also funny to answer some personal questions, in a friendly way...
And of course we are obliged to answer some provocative questions, in order to shut up their mouths...

I agree also with Earthling,Ipek and Hurricane's answers...

I like to answer the questions which help people. Like today someone was asking if there's a program that shows the distance and calculates the steaming time between to ports,which i use everyday.I like to share my knowledge and experience.

I also like to answer commenting questions. A historical fact,politics etc, whatever, but reasonable.

But yes i sometimes answer p&s questions just for fun.

I don't answer questions which i think is not a real question.People sometimes write comments and wait for the people to confirm that,pretending like it is a question. Or questions which i find stupid ( according to my values of course).

I like to read answers as well as answering myself.

I like to answer questions directly related to Turkey and Turkish. But sometimes I find myself answering random polls&surveys type questions. I think I only answer questions I can relate to.

I also like translation questions but I don't answer those which ask for very long translations. And, I don't answer translation questions if others already gave answers and if I think they're correct.

Actually i'm trying to answer all questions,but i give answers as they deserve of course.i respect someone who is respectful, i'm trying to shut the provacator's mouths up with my answers,you got what i mean.Silly questions deserve silly answers,good questions deserve good answers as your question :-)

I try to answer the questions which are not too personal or plain dumb..

I don't mind the PS type of questions which are asked by friends but sometimes I feel obliged to answer some which are asked for the askers personal satisfaction- just to be polite but I can't say I enjoy it.

There are some asked by either strangers or section regulars which I think it will cause fury if I answer the way I want to answer it, so I skip those ones. It is called auto control and I see that many are lacking of it. Reason why is that I don't believe that since this is Internet and we are anonymous so I can say whatever comes to my mind.
Respect is respect, whether we are anonymous or not. Besides, I am not, I have my own picture and my real name here and I believe in empathy and politeness.. to a certain degree of course :)

1,)I answer questions about Turkey which are worth answering.I even dont look someone's questions.

2,)And sometimes,I look answers.If my friends (ipek,anlarm,tanju,leprechun,morticia...... have answered it,I answer.
I learned a lot of things from them.For example drying tomato..:).

I'm tired of provoking questions. I only answer them if 1) Somebody else from the regulars have answered and 2) If it is really lame and really funny.

If there are no answers, I don't respond. It is better to leave them for oblivion.

I mainly answer the 'kid in some sort of stress/trouble' questions ... and I do that 'from the heart and from my career' which was a psychologist. I also answer people who ask for 'recipes' ... I don't cook using 'recipes' and don't give 'real recipes' ... but I do give 'really good instructions' on how to 'fix' something, and how to vary it. I also answer many different 'pet questions.' SOME of the questions in P&S and R&S are 'fun' ... some are truly curious ... and some are obviously 'written by Trolls.' I TRY to 'answer them in a reasonable manner' ... Trolls are just 'ignorant' humans, after all (although they may consider themselves 'educated') ... and who knows ... the 'answers' are viewable by ALL for some time, so even if the 'questioner' doesn't like or want my 'good answer' maybe some other reader does. Oh, I also like answering the 'joking' questions ... some in Jokes & Riddles and others as 'real questions' ... but I usually try to 'top' their weird humor ...and I frequently get 'best answer' to them too. GO FIGURE.

I don't answer the stupid troll questions that took little thought to insult us. The kind of questions that the trolls actually took time to think about, are the ones that I answer. Luckily, I always have a good comeback to say to them :-) I like to use my advocative skills here once in a while.

Sometimes I answer a few provocative questions in order to make everything clear but not the questions asked by the regular troll.
I do not like answering P&S type questions here unless they are asked by a few specific users.Beside,I do not like to give answers involving personal details,I gave some personal information though.

there are two types of questions I will generally answer. the first is viewpoint or survey questions such as this one. the other is usually ones where I can give insight due to personal experience

I dont mean to offend,ppl who dont like some sort of qs they can always skip to the next why bother nagging about it,its not worth it!!
