It's an at least L O N G story, and you cannot deal with something so serious in so few lines.
So, SUPPOSE all the people that participate in the movement, for whatever reasons each one of them does, are sh*t and deserve the worst of the penalties (I'm not going to reveal you in any way whose side I am really on).
What do you, as a student, a parent or a citizen, what do I, what does this WISE government or the media that do or do not support it do TO EASE things? Nothing.
[I guess M.L.King, had he been born in Greece, would have got sick of this kind of apathy (because he, at his time, accused people of silence, that is to say the self-called observers who like to abstain from every trouble.)]
However, we all, more or less, for our own reasons ourselves, too (because people are "reasonable"), support this spreading of the feelings of disappointment, fear and, allow me to say this, dispair, which, in their turn, lead to disappointed and disappointing, frightening and fearful, desperate moves by people in power.
Has anyone officially ever tried to explain the new law scheme, to let even the last of the greeks know what this is all about (and please do not mention newspapers, personal responsibility, state media etc -you, as a Greek, have an opinion about how things work here)? No. Instead, since last summer, they nodded to doubts floating and the whole thing becoming immensely exaggerated (Again, I'm not saying what I believe that should be done).
And about the asylum issues, I do not have a proper link right now, but there is a related law regarding the punishment of criminal behavio(u)r in asylum places ALREADY, but people in charge mas pane apo ton Anna ston Kaiafa (refer us to each other of them) when action is demanded kai olo kapoion allon theloune na bgalei to fidi apo tin trypa (and they always want someone else to accept responsibility and be blamed for everything). In the present case, less apparent consequences may lead to the most undesirable results, in the sense that two mistakes do not fix the error.
Do you really want an American/European-style Education system in Greece (no offense to non-Greeks, OF COURSE)? Why is that?
Think about it, please. I am thinking about it, honestly.
And as for punishing the criminals, τα του Καίσαρος τω Καίσαρι, για να μπουν κάποια πράγματα στη θέση τους. |
