Turkish maybe?? Duh

Turkish is the main language. But it is not uncommon to hear: Kurdish, Laz, Hemsin, Greek (rumca). At least I can easily say that I've heard these languages a lot in, usually, villages.

To be honest although I thrust CIA world fact book with a lot of things, I have never heard Azeri spoken in Turkey (Nor Turkish in Azerbaidjan) and I have no idea what Dimli and Kabardian are.

About GREEK LANGUAGE: it's a GREAT surprise to me that some people don't forget to mention it as a spoken language in Turkey, especially if you think that it is spoken of less than 5.000 people only in Istanbul (70.000.000 total population in Turkey).
Kurdish is spoken by a large minority.

Look now an abstract from Wikipedia.

'The official language of Turkey is Turkish. Ethnologue lists the following minority languages: Abaza, Abkhaz, Adyghe, Armenian, Balkan Gagauz Turkish, Balkan Romani, Bulgarian, Crimean Turkish, Dimli, Domari, Georgian, Greek, Hértevin, Kabardian, Kazakh, Kirghiz, Kirmanjki, Kumyk, Ladino, Laz, North Mesopotamian Arabic, Northern Kurdish, Osetin, Pontic, Serbian, South Azerbaijani, Southern Uzbek, Tatar, Tosk Albanian, Turkish Sign language, Turkmen, Turoyo and Uyghur.'
