I think he meant to say "oÄŸlum" means "my boy". |

"olum" is net speak for oglum which is actually "my son" but is commonly used as a "brother" , "mate". If u compare the Turkish language to other languages, you will notice that it is a very friendly, passionate language. The root meaning is also accompanied by expressions that constantly get adapted as time progresses with the culture.
The meaning of the word is usually understood by the intention of the person, rather than the original meaning. For example, u will have heard many times the word "Lan or Len" from Turkish people as an additive to a sentence. It also derives from the word "Oglan" which means "boy" or "male". It's common meaning is "man" as in "C'mon man/brother/buddy" but if it is used in a hostile situation, like when someone is demanding something from you, or being aggressive towards you, u would take it as them calling u "Boy" as in "What the hell do u think ur doing, Boy!".
So if he said "olum momo sorry" he is saying ,"brother Momo, I'm sorry" - just to clarify, the intention is good.
I dont know what happened but I saw the heading yesterday,
hope u guys make up :)
edit: what does avam kamerasi mean, I've never heard the words or expression I googled it, but it doesn't make sense to me. Said something like a kind of camera which is economical? |

To correct you this is the right way 2 say it OÄžLUM
That means my "my boy", "buddy" and "mate"
All three of them |

I agree especially with -La Vie En Rose-...
By the way, all the regular users know Ufuk (Luckyman) for quite a long time now...He's a cool guy, but sometimes he is a bit into some special moods...Don't pay attention...
We like him, anyway, despite of his particular style, lol...
Oh, as Luckyman always says:

It means "buddy, dude, mate.. and I think Tutski couldn't recognize who you are, either......
I think you should go back to "Detective Momo", dear :) |

I think it would be better if people acted politely to whoever joins the Turkey section. I don't think it really counts if you are polite to the people you know only.
Luckyman is trying to make amends.
Edit: Bu ilk vakan değil, lukimen. Blind olmadığımı hepimiz biliyoruz, değil mi?
Bu arada, Avam Kamarası asil olmayanların meclisi oluyor. Yani halk meclisi. Asil olanlar Lordlar Kamarası. Üzgünüm. Yine lafı oturtamadın. |

Seems like misspelling or fast internet style typing of "oglum" ("oÄŸlum" exactly), which means "boy", "oh boy" or "my boy" (literally the last one).
BUT...
It's very important where Luckyman this word used because in Turkish there's a word with special letters (points over o -ö- and u -ü-), "ölüm". And its meaning is this: "death"
I guess Luckyman used it in the meaning of "my boy" but look at his sentence one more time. Maybe with the meaning "death" will his sentence make sense. Who knows?
Regards.
