Places to visit:

Tivoli: a very old amusement park, I think the oldest in the world, if not one of the oldest. They have a lot of shows in English.

Stone Age Village in Lejre: This is a great place to go in the summer. It's not too hot, so you can walk around all day and even take your kids there, and get to see how people lived in the middle ages and the stone age. They have guides along the way, and most speak english very fluently.

Roskilde Cathedral: VERY beautiful church in the city of Roskilde. It costs a little bit of money to enter, but you get to walk around and see all the paintings and sculptures inside and it's a very peaceful and serene place to visit.

Copenhagen: Lots of stuff to do here if you like the city. You can go see the statue of the little mermaid (although I recommend walking to the site, and not taking a boat tour. Because the statue is only 5 feet tall, lol.) You also get lots of night-life things to do like clubbing and bars and there are many museums and galleries that you can find if you look them up on the internet.

Kattegatcentret: This is a big aquarium located in Grenaa, near the coast. It has the walk-through shark tunnels, and areas where you can watch the trainers feeding seals, sharks, etc, as well as places to go in and touch the sea creatures. Fairly cheap admission, and you can even order a packed lunch or go to a buffet they have almost year-round.

There are tons of places to go in Denmark to see the countryside or the ocean. Almost any place in the country is beautiful =)! Spring is usually a little bit cold, so pack a few sweaters and pants, as well as a jacket and an umbrella, just in case! Hope you have fun!

Definitely take time to see Copenhagen and the city, you can go north to Helsingør and see Hamlets castle.

One of the ancestral captials of Denmark is Roskilde, where there is a very nice Viking museum as well as the Domkirke - the church where nearly every monarch of Denmark for the last 1000 years or so is laid to rest.

Lejre has a Stone Age village you can visit, and see what life was like in the Stone Ages.

Skagen up in northern Jylland is very nice, although its more of a seasonal attraction.

I've included a link of places to see in Denmark below:

Two weeks? Perhaps you can spend a week in Copenhagen area and another week in Jutland peninsula. In Copenhagen you just can do the "standard" touristic activity while you can relax a bit and enjoy the nature view in Jutland. That's my best advice. Good luck

I would recommend going to Skagen, Ribe, Odense, Copenhagen, and Fredericksborg. And Roskilde.

Sounds like you're not going at the time of year when the music festivals happen, but you should check to make sure just in case. Either way, I would go to multiple concerts in Copenhagen, as you can catch European acts there that never make it across the pond.

Other things to do include:
- going to castles (like Hamlet's castle);
- going to see the Little Mermaid, Christiania, Stroeget, and Tivoli in Copenhagen (and when in Christiania, eat at the little vegetarian restaurant "Morgenstedet");
- checking out some museums on Danish architecture & design and visiting some famous works (like the Black Diamond)
- visiting Hans Christian Andersen's house in Odense
- going to Viking museums (there are a ton)
- going to the beach and visiting small fishing villages
- art museums (like Louisiana just up the coast from Copenhagen)
