In Italy and south of France is a rather strange Autumn... warm up to few days ago, then chilly, then again warmer... It is not too cold however, until it gets to December. Warmer in south of Spain.

so far as I know it's fall. As long as you are in the northern hemisphere you should be in fall. The southern hemisphere is spring right now.
I live in the south of Spain and it´s AUTUMN here, the same as the rest of Europe; the only difference is the weather; while in Sweden they are almost freezing (2º Celsius today), here in the south of Spain we are still wearing summer clothes (with a light jacket early in the morning or late at night). Cold comes here later than other parts of Europe.

Same season as here, even though the climate may be a bit more temperate. Italy will be chili in the north during winter, but get warmer the further south you go. Kind of like the US. Winter all over, but different in Maine, Maryland and Georgia.
