There weather is like ours. Check out the weather a week before you go and plan your clothes that way bringing extra. Bring sun screen and make sure you invest in a over the shoulder carrier for you important things. I have seen nice ones at airports actually in like a leather store. I love those countries and the people but times are hard everywhere and people have sticky fingers and professional con people walk the streets. If you have AAA or know someone that does get maps and points of interest for the countries. If your interested in local conversation you can buy books that teach you just tourist phrases. I would also carry a COPY of your birth certificate. And whenever my grandma travels she leaves her passport in her hotel and takes a copy that she photo copies to protect her real one. Don't forget your camera and plenty of batteries. Before I go on any trip as much advance as I can get I start a list. It helps me not forget little things right before I go.

Lol, I went on that same trip a few years ago, but it was to France, England Spain and Germany.
Bring plastic money, and make sure you bring more clothes than you think you need.
Plus bring lots of memory card or film for your camera.

BRING YOUR PASSPORT.
I also brought a small water filter to make the water a little safer.
Just in case.

Have fun

Well I don't know for all the places that you are going but for Italy I would pack really lite stuff. It gets really hot in the summer especially in the cities.

When I went on a trip like that, it was about 18 days, and I just took one rolling suitcase (carry-on maximum size).

You honestly don't need that much, and you never need as much as you think you will.

Sinkwashing always works well too, if you fail to find a laundry place!

Lots of soap

I just got back from a week trip and I was pissed I had forgotten to pack enough underwear. 20 days is about 25 pairs of underwear, it's better to pack more than not enough. And I don;t know the exchange rate in those countries as far as currency, but it is always better to bring things that you don't have to buy there. I brought snacks and drinks, and when I got to Canada I ran out and their snacks cost way too damn much. good luck and have fun!

Oh, my best friend is married to a Maltese. You definitely need sunscreen and a bikini. Good walking shoes...maps...sunglasses, hat...razors, shampoo, haha. Bring some aloe vera just in case you get a sunburn. Maybe your own pillow, just so you are comfortable. Well, if you still wonder after you get answers on here you can email me and I will ask my best friend's husband.

Oh, and bring a camera.
