They do drive on the same side of the road as Britain - if there are no holes or if the sun is on the left!! I recently moved to Malta and enjoy driving here. It is interesting as long as you are not a nervous driver. Although drivers are erratic there is no road rage. Just be sure to keep your distance and allow plenty of time to maneuver.
