Very good Polish friends.
My children's godparents are Polish both are hard working decent people, I also have a very good friend who I love to bits, she lives in Slupsk near to the Baltic sea and I miss her.
Hope to make my first visit to Poland later this year.See you soon Kasia.

The thing that I think of when I hear about Poland is about the great country. It is a beautiful country with so many sights to view all over. It is also a great place to learn about history in Europe and just Poland's history. It is a great country and every where you go you'll be glad to be there. I want to visit it once again hopefully some day soon.

Happy Feet
In Poland I appreciate the polite, gallant manner of men towards women, the hospitality towards and sharing of food with travellers in the train, a love of the romantic (in the sense of heroism). On the other hand, all their films seem to show that they are still depressed about the past, especially the WWII period...and the fields in Poland are endless, I guess that´s how it got its name, because the word "pole" in Polish means "field".

Unfortunately, it's the swearing. I'm friends with some polish guys from Sopot and at the end of every sentence it's KURV.... MACZ!or just kurv... there were many others aswell, but I still want to go to Poland because I know Poland's a beautifull country full of great people!

Foreigners not knowing where the Poland is:
1. sounds like Pole-End.. is it on the North Pole?
2. between Germany and Russia..? No, there's nothing in between.
Foreigners believing there's no Coca-Cola in Poland, there's snow most time of the year and main mean transport is a carriage.
And 3 main features of Poles: they can drink a lot (alcohol), they love fighting for big things (like freedom and independence) and they are absolute litigants!
