What was the worst vacation you have ever had?

It has to be our holiday to Tunisia. We land and were going through passport control when mine was checked I was pushed to one side and put into a room with armed guards. I didn't understand what was going on. My children and husband were allowed through. It turn out that as I had a French maiden name and had listed my brother as my next of kin they had to do a full security check on me. I was left in the room for 3 hours while they did this. I was eventually reunited with my family and we arrived at our hotel. After the first week we decided to hire a car and travel to El Jem. The car broke down. A couple of young men on motor bikes came to our aid and got the car going. When we arrived back to the hotel we tried to get our money back from the car company. However as I spoke to the arab he spat at me, so my husband started to shout at him saying that is not how we treat our women and dont ever spit at my wife. The next minute the police arrived and my husband was arrested. The arab had report that he had been hit. The hotel manager came to my aid, and asked other people what had happened. No one backed the arabs story. However we were told that we would have to apologise or face 6 weeks in jail as the judicial service was on holiday. Reluctantly we did and then to make matters worse we were asked to leave the country and were taken to the airport by armed guards. Hence the holiday form hell and we would never go back there.

10 years ago i went with a few friends and my boyfriend of the time to the Bahamas.. I Spent half the time arguing with him because he wanted to control my every move. It was ridiculous.. ( I was 20 at the time) So that was the worst 5 days ever...
Thank Goodness, I came back and woke up from that disaster of a vacation.. and about 3 weeks later went with all my friends to Cancun and had a great time Without the Jerk. he he..

an exploding toilet, and the management tried to blame it on me. i was out and came back to find everything i had soaked and the manager was actaully yelling at me.

Back in elementary school my parents took me and my brother up to the mountains. We went to go see a waterfall and my brother slipped on the boardwalk around it and accidently knocked my father down. In front of everyone my dad got pissed and started yelling that he did it on purpose and knocked him around real bad. Everyone was staring and I didn't stop crying the entire day afterwords. That vacation sucked. We were all stuck together in a car for eight hours and we all hated each other on the ride home.

Lol I went to Thailand for 3 weeks last year with my then boyfriend. Two weeks in we had a massive row and I told him that when we got back home I never wanted to see him again! Surprisingly the rest of the holiday was great!

Went to Scotland...never again, those damn locks did my head in, took an hour to drive around when would have taken 15 mins if they had a bridge...and the midges...maybe I just went to the wrong place but would'nt go again...sorry Scotland!

The holiday itself was ok, but the guesthouse where we stayed in Hong Kong was advertised as a spotlessly clean, safe etc. Approx $30/night, we should have known better. The room was infested with cockroaches (true, the floor was clean), and so small than when we both sat on the bed, our knees were touching. I finally got another room, where the air-conditioning was blowing so hard and noisily that on the first night I caught a cold. Following night I discovered extra blankets in one of the cupboards. At least the air-conditioning kept me cool (cold) and cockroaches and the other insects visited my friend's room, not mine. But still, what an awful place to stay for 10 nights..

About 5 years ago on a school trip to France which firstly was cold, windy and wet, we were told we'd stay in a hotel it was a hostel and no bed just bunk beds which was awful if you were sleeping on the bottom as you had someones body dropping down onto you, the mattress was that old, we then were told we were going to a beach it was a bit of sand and a manky market and then we were told we were going to a chocolate factory which was some guy who had it running from his back room not exactly Willy Wonka and then to add to it all on the way back we had all had to have chicken omelet which was gross but what was worse was when we finished and went out into the cafe garden there were chickens running around with no heads, we all nearly threw up so all in all a rubbish trip and the memories wernt rosie x

It may sound weird, but it was also the best holiday I've had in years. I consider it to be the worst because I had to leave earlier than scheduled because of some unexpected problems... Grrrr

Went to Hawaii..... Got robbed..... But it was so nice there.... Other than that.....So Pretty.....We are going back someday.....@

Went to Scotland with my in-laws a couple of years ago. Lovely place but the company was bad!!
NEVER go away with family, it's the worst thing you can do!!

Mine was going to France with my dads friends and my little brother, but there was not enough room in the car so he had to sit on my lap (my brother), and we had nowhere to stay, so we had to sleep in the car!!!
