Yea, we have Turkish drug dealers here. We also have German ones, or Moroccans, or French. There have been members of the US Army caught in dealing with mary-jane. So what? Oh, yes, there's a difference: The US Army members were flown back to the United States, as they're not under German legislation. The Turkish and all other Europeans go to jail here.

I lived in Berlin for seven years and I have some Turkish friends. I don't think criminality would rise if we accepted Turkey as a member state of the European Union. It has risen dramatically by accepting some eastern states into the union, like Romania. Crime and poverty go hand in hand, and Turkey isn't poor. They have huge economic power, and it would be good for the Union if we took them in. That's my personal opinion, which may be debatable, but I strongly believe that Turkey could be a valuable member of the European Union if we'd only let them. They're a NATO ally ever since, and I understand that they are somewhat angry about the Europeans not letting them join. How would you feel if you were good enough as a stronghold for "the threat from the middle east" but weren't allowed to join the community?

It'll be a disaster for Turks if they accept the eu membership because eu is a sick patient and Turkey will become a doctor to heal them which is a long process.I hope Turks will never accept it.Btw what's it to you anyways? aren't you an oldie goldie jew from a jew land? or you're just pretending that you are.

Criminality would be the same. Turkey is not in the EU now, but there are millions of turks living in Europe, so if Turkey would join the EU it doesn't really change anything. Maybe the number of turkish out of Turkey wouldn't even increase.
Not all turks are criminals anyway.

If you REALLY mean that Europe is peaceful, you have to wake up, man.

We are not a member yet but still there are criminals in Europe, aren't they? I mean criminals do always find their way, so you don't have to worry about criminal rates. ;)

Beside, Italy, the homeland of mafia is a member, right? So what would have changed if it isn't? Think of it.
