since i imagine you wouldn't want to live in india or the middle east, i have to say anywhere in eastern europe would be very cheap to stay. in romania for example if you were to gain 1000 euros a month, you would do extremely well, you could buy anything you need, food is cheap and houses are ok too, a 2 bedroom apartment is about 80.000 euros, and most romanians own their own apartment and live decently on salaries of about 300 euros. so it's a cheap country to live in, trust me, and it's decent, people don't live in trees or in cottages, lol |

Costa Rica. My neighbor just moved here and bought a bar (small stand up type bar w/ few tables- stocked and open to public) with a house (small loft style decent shape) for 5 thousand dollars. He says it is a lot of fun and that everything is cheap. |

Yemen its in the middle east but when iwent there every was cheap i bought 3 houses can't you 1 house with 4 floors can cost 35 hundred thousand.

the cars are worth about 4000-9000$ (including good ones)
an apartment (normal) would cost about 30-80 a month
hotels are far too expensive 100$ a day
the grocery would be very cheap you might spend less then 4$ every time you shop.
i stayed for 8 years liviving life easy. |

India is a really cheap country to live in. The value of the US dollar is surprisingly a lot. I recommend it if you don't mind middle easterners and what not. |

Cheap, you have rights, and less of a chance of genocide, warmongers, rape, and disease.
People are asses, and its more expensive than other coountries, but hey at least the Midwest isnt California, this place sucks. |
