Somebody from the Netherlands is called a Dutchman or Dutch.
Holland is a kind of slang term for the Netherlands.
Netherlanders is not something you call people from the Netherlands but in the Dutch language we call ourselves Nederlanders and we call our country Nederland. The Dutch word for Dutch is Nederlands. |

As Vincent says "the Dutch". And a little correction to curious connie: the actual name for the country is the Kingdom of the Netherlands, not Holland. Holland is part of the Netherlands. In the 17th century, the golden age in which the nation of the Netherlands was the wealthiest of the world, most of the international trade was done from the provinces of Holland. So a lot of people ran into the name "Holland" before they heard of "Republic of the Seven United Provinces of the Netherlands" and "Holland" became a common name for the Netherlands. |

I would call them Dutch if I'm speaking with someone totally unfamiliar with the Netherlands. Otherwise they are Nederlanders. |
