What would you do if someone annoys you by answering one of your questions?

Speaking up in public is "asking for it", if you know what I mean. If you ask, you want answers and you cannot complain when people do just that. There may be people who like or dislike you, but that is life. Hanging out here is your own decision, after all.

Alana, jealousy is not a good thing to have, maybe someday if you were able to answer questions properly and be respectful, you would be a "Top Answerer Somewhere"

well, i think that depends on the person who answered your question, let say if that persons ideas are important to you,that is why his/her answers annoys you.
there for you could get in touch with that person and try do solve or dissolve what ever the annoying subject is.

or you can just say oh yeah well the .... what ever.... and another.....

and just forget about it.

BTW, since you referred to people with an indication such as "a mental illness" you can get reported with this question due the clause of insult and harassment in case anybody gets offended.

I try not to 'annoy' anyone. And if someone annoys me here, I just ignore them, unless they insult or violate Yahoo comm. guides. Then I report them.

There are tons of fake accounts,trolls,propagantists,anarchists... here on yahoo answers and reporting them is meaningless unfortunatelly :(
the best thing you can do is to edit your question using the way that makes him annoyed =) Y! can't handle all the reports cuz they recieve thosands of reports everyday, or you can swear him via e-mail :-)
