cyprus is beautiful crete zacynthos and kos is nice never tried tenerife .But cyprus is the best of the lot

hi i am from greece!it is nice to meet sombody who have been here.i thing that the best island here is corfu but is time for you to visit and crete.i hope you will and you have to know that the petter place there is hania and then rethimno.

i've been to crete twice and loved it both times the 1st time was the best tho. I went to a village called stalis which is next to malia, its not as busy as malia but the night life is still good as well as there being a variety of traditional greek restaurants.

Malia is only a short walk away so you have the choice of a really good mad night out or just a really good night out, I also found that there were more drinks offers in stalis rather than in malia it's self and i would recommend this part of Crete to anyone.

There is no one best Greek isle. I have been to several and they all have their special charm. Personal interests play a big part in making your decision. Some like nightlife, some like shopping, some like history. I am a history buff so all were interesting to me especially Crete and Rhodes. But my favorite place was not a Greek isle, but was a part of my cruise. This place was Ephesus which is in Turkey. It is a fabulous place for those of us who like history, but don't expect any rappers or big shopping.

This is not an island it is a place on the mainland but three years ago I sailed around the Ionian Islands and this was the best place of all. It is called Messalonghi and is over the water from Patras. Is is a very small town which you reach by going up saltwater lagoons. Along the lagoons you will see lots of house boats with vines growing up them. It is typically greek with no tourist attractions at all. You can see giant sea turtles in the local harbour but the strangest thing of all is that there is a field full of jet war airplanes with no obvious signs as to how they got there, there is even a selection of missile launchers!!. If you look on google earth you can see it clearly. The people here were incredilbly welcoming and the local bars had a good choice of foods. Do not expect any frills but you will be fascinated by the place

I've been to Kos and Rhodes, both were great and have something to suit all tastes. You can also do the daytrip to Turkey from both islands. Rhodes,(Pefkos) was easier to get around, the beach was pretty good too.

You may want to check out this website, it's pretty good although some comments are a bit snotty. I would also recommend Teletext for deals, you can get some great bargains on there.

The Greeks and the Greek Islands are wonderful.
Where you choose to go,you will find the friendliest of welcomes on the islands.
I too have been to many islands over the years,Zakynthos x 3 and last year went to Stalis Crete,in fact we are gong to Stalis again this year,so much to see and do. A lovely resort lots to do,a bit more quieter than Malia which is near,wherever you choose to go in Greece you will have a wonderful holiday.

Milos is a wonderful island! I've been there 2 years ago and i think these holidays were the best of my life! I won't tell you more about this island just go and see and you won't regret!!!!
