Well the Peach beer of Liefmanns .
We have here the most and best beers in the world.
I prefer Kriekbier (Vandestock or Liefmanns or Mort Subite=the best kriekbeer) =Cherry beer, the big bottles or of the draft is the best, also Hoeghaarden(draft),Delerium Tremes(bottles) and Duvelbeer (yes my good friend Simon from UK would fully agree with this!).
The most spectacular beer is " Kwak beer" it is served in a wooden holder and looks like a big lab tube.

i'm not trying to get discussions started - you can't argue on tastes .
and i'll try not to be to chauvinist - but i admit it's not easy ;-)

there's no other country where you'll find a beer variety that comes close to what we have in belgium - and everyone is sure to find his or hers favour!

now, you're asking for the best belgian beer - it's clear it depends on your personal taste.

my personal choise of "best of the best":

mater wit beer : that's what i drink whenever i have the possibilty - it's a "white beer" that really is perfect when you're thirsty ... or when you just want to have a beer ;-)

liefmans goudenband : that's a dark (not black but almost) beer that has a taste between sweet and sour - delicat, but you'll like it!

of course, these aren't the most famous belgian beers, but small can be "beautiful" and i assure you, that's the case with these beers.

anyway, try as much different beers as you can, but not all at once- keep in mind that too much migth take away the pleasure!!!

This like other goods the same, it is a question of taste. The beer industry named the DELIRIUM TREMENS as the best beer in the world a few years ago. I must agree, this beer is
very very good but strong (9) and of triple fermentation wich means it get better when it is older. I tried one witch had 18 years and it was incredible! But as you all know there are about 700 or more beer in Belgium so for everybody taste!

I´d liked to drink ´Koetsiersbier´ not that it´s called that way,
but it comes in a special glass. Looks a bit like a tube they use expirementing in labs, set in a wooden handle.
The beer is quite dark, because of the form of the glass the beer
´bubbles´ up everytime (and doesn´t ´die´ easily)
