I think the reason you asked this question in the section "Greece" is your answer! Greece is not just the islands and the monuments, but many many beautiful villages in mountains, landscapes, cultural heritage, etc.

1. boracay
2. el nido palawan
3. panglaw beach in bohol
4. camiguin island in Mindanao
and a looooooot more!

if you like sea sand and humidity only don't go to Greece but if you like culture history get in touch with your senses and find out when you say or read were they come from then you go to Greece !!

I like Antigua, and also Turkey (but the quieter bits - not the touristy places like Marmaris, I don't go to Turkey to find 300 bars on the beach selling English Breakfast & beans on toast)

Lanzarote is a nice little island as well.
