It's defenitely naturist. Nudists is what naturists are called by people who have never seen one from closeby or who think being a naturist is some kind of pervert activity.
I've been to naturist camping sites in France all my life and I can really recommand these:
http://www.clapere.com (Pyrennées)
http://www.le-haut-chandelalar.com/ (haute Provence)
http://www.u-furu.com/ (Corsica)
Nothing but nice people and very quite remote camoing sites surrounded by beautiful landscapes. They might want to ask you for a membership card of the international naturist federation. Go check: http://www.inffni.org/ for more info on naturism and membership.
Enjoy your holiday! |

I think it is the same, others call them Nudists, but they prefer the term Naturists emphasizing that the lack of clothing is not intended to be sexual in any way, but simply freeing from the conventions of clothing. People use clothing not simply to cover themselves, but also to send messages to others, and without it then people feel very different.
That's besides being cold. |

There is no essential difference; "nudist colony" is just out-dated terminology now. Nothing to snigger about, if you are genuine in your desire; anyone who has tried it will know it is a great experience. Plenty of info on the web, as to where to go.. |

They are both the same thing.
Though the 'holiday' is probably a place you visit, versus a 'colony' would be where you live. |

Much the same thing!! |

First off, there's no such thing as a "nudist colony." Ants and termites live in colonies.
Nudist and Naturist are somewhat interchangeable. Generally, a nudist prefers man made nudist clubs or resorts, while a naturist can be at home at a resort, or out in nature on a beach, lake, etc.
In France, I suggest Cap d'Agde or Montelivet. |

both-and you will only need a towel and soap and tooth brush ?. |
|

Just do it
|
Nudists appreciate the naked human body and naturists appreciate nature in all its forms |

Both naturists are a community where its the norm to let it swing.......nudists are exhibitionists who love to flaunt it and undress when they get there.
Go to both!! I will come with you.. |

Both are ok. The difference is that a nudist likes taking their clothes off,,an exibhitionist if you will. A naturist is what i would call the true "nudist" they are the ones who do it because they enjoy it and their general opinion is that this is the way nature had intended it back in the old "caveman" days.
Other nudist/Naturist places you could try are in Yugoslavia Greece and I think Portugal. I know the GREEKS AND FRENCH ARE LIKE THE CONISSURES or EXPERSTS AT THIS KIND OF STUFF lol. |
|

Awesome-o
 |
naturists are hairer, nudists are fatter. |
