No doubt we'll have some rainy days in March. Well, probably a lot of rain...
And if we're lucky a few days with clear sky and a weak sun, so it won't be warm...
Be sure you bring a good rain coat, cause you'll need it and some sweaters. It will be about 10 degrees Celcius that time of year...
And also...welcome to Belgium!

Chantal D.
Rain, rain and more rain.
Yes warm cloths, March is a very bad bad and that's also for other Europe countries not only for Belgium.

Van der Elst
Hi Francis7, it can be a bit nippy with a cold wind, but you may be lucky. Plenty of cafe bars anyway.

anneliesads
7°C to day wiht rain is winter in Belguim.

Richard P
you will find it wet and cold ......

Reggie
its always a bit warmer than here and you do not get the dampness we get but take some woollies and a heavy jacket and enjoy give Gent my love I will be over in July for the fiesten

Orla C
Bring a rain jacket and good rainproof shoes, and dress in layers. It's often cold and damp in that part of the world at that time of the year.

MARGARET T
I was in Belgium in Feb 2006and it is the only time I came back to Uk and it was warmer here .I would take warm clothing in layers you can always shed a layer .

Belgium is "drizzly", cloudy, and rather chilly. I wouldn't call it "heavy rain", it's just a constant drizzle, drizzle, drizzle. The perpetual drizzle is light enough that the wind blows it in every direction -- umbrellas are useless. However, the drizzle is heavy enough that the wind, cold, and drizzle eats through your coat and skin.
It's so far north, that kids walk to school in the dark in the winter, and come home in the dark. It's one depressing little country.
I spent five years in Belgium, and I think I remember 4 sunny days. The kids on the beach wear their coats.
I was so glad to leave that country.
