I love manti, adana kebab and lahmatzoun. Turkish cuisine is quite similar to Greek (like dolmas, kofte, etc), however in Turkey they put more spices and since I love spicy food everytime I visit Turkey I gain 2 or 3 kilos. lol

Oh, my favorites though are the turkish sweets.

Being a vegetarian like Bird, and taking into consideration that Turkish and Greek cuisines are almost identical, I suggest all kinds of dolma, imam baildi (that's how we call this dish, I don't know if the term is common), and ofcourse baklava as dessert.

P.S. It's amazing that simple and honest questions like yours are being removed when other questions, which really violate all rules, just remain there, despite the reports of abuse....

oh i really love turkish deserts : Baklava is my favourite.

Hi Selim,
As an english person engaged to an Istanbul guy, I often come across different Turkish foods.
My favourites are all types of Börek, especially Kiymalı :)
Urfa kebab is quite tasty
Ekmek Kadayf with Kaymak (thats wrong spelling I'm sure)

I love Dolma and also Lamb but I will only eat the Lamb when I`m in Turkey because it taste better there.

I love all Turkish meals except pırasa and bamya.

Mantı is my fav Turkish meal.
Ama zeytinyağlı bütün dolma çeşitlerini de lüp lüp yutarım.
Arasıra çiğ köfte, kokoreç ya da işkembe çorbası ile kaçamak yapmakta da ustayımdır.
