My advise is to travel off season, that is in the fall, winter and early spring. You will find the airfare is lower as well as hotel or B & B accommodations. Since it rains all year long and the summer temperatures are only a few degrees warmer you can use the money you save to sight-see. London is amazing! Be sure to take a rideo on the London Eye. Catch a London Cab to Harrod's and walk around the city, seems there is history at every turn. Catch a train and see the
English countryside. You will not be bored! Check out the current airfare to Europe.....some of the lowest prices I have ever seen, and a lot are vacation packages that include hotels and car.
I love England. |

Get out of London as quickly as you can. To see England you need to see... England.
Try the Fenn Country, or the Cotswolds, maybe go to the Industrial powerhouses of Newcastle, Liverpool and Manchester. Try the north Yorkshire Dales.
Make sure you have tea, scones, watch a game of cricket somewhere and/or a football match.
Complain about Radio 1, or listen to Terry Wogan on Radio 2 complaining about Radio 1. Read the Times, or the Express, or just have a look at the Evening Standard but stay away from the Sun.
Get lost in a Tesco carpark, marvel at the leftover trolleys at Asda, and wonder what the heck Aldi is for. Perhaps you could stop in at the church of Ikea like other Britons. |

Avoid London in the Summer. Expensive, can be stiflingly hot and with so many tourists needing to be fed, the food gets worse at this busy time for the industry.
Spring would be my own choice, anytime between April and June, the weather in uncertain but can be lovely, the countryside is petty much at its best and everyone is open for business. I would also chose to stay someplace in the Midlands or thereabout so that I could visit any other place in the country easily by rail, road or bus.Besides, hotels are a lot cheaper that far out of London and there are plenty to chose from.budget chains and luxury hotels and everything in between. Birmingham has a number of collages and unis so plenty of young people are catered for in the city, night clubs, shopping and theatres..Stratford upon Avon is near enough to make a day-trip there viable, London is a couple of hours away and Wales is even closer..and if you want to visit Ireland or France for a few days then that is easily organised as well.
Wherever you do go, try to make it a University town; the more young people there are the more there is to do. Of course every town and city has crime problems but if you simply talk to the receptionist at your hotel or a waitress or waiter ..or whoever, they should be able to tell you what part of town to avoid. |

If you like warm weather and sunshine then best time would be - July, August and September. However there is no guarantee on the weather here unfortunately. If you are not fussed on the weather then March, April, May and June aren't too bad. Though again there is no guarantee.
Best place to go? Depends what you want to come here for. Remember though England is farily small and extremely easy to get around. |

England has quite a temperate climate so it rarely gets very very cold or very very hot so I doesn't matter too much when you go.
January and February are the coldest but so maybe I would avoid those. Like anywhere it's much more fun when the sun is out. Somewhere between May and September would be ideal. |

Go to Blackpool in July, or any other seaside town like Skegness or Tourqay, that's really nice, I've been there a couple of times..
The Peak District is absolutley beautiful.
I live In Lincolnshire.
The summer here is really nice, it gets up to about 27 degrees celcius on a really nice day in Summer
You'll love it here :) |

Best time to come is June or September as weather is good and not so crowded or as expensive as July/August.
I do not know your age so I do not know what your type of fun is but if you like Clubbing then best places are Manchester,Newcastle ,Birmingham, Brighton and if you have plenty of money London.
If its adventure parks Then Chessington World of Adventure, Thorpe Park or Alton Towers.
For advice on what to do and see then suggest you see tripadvisor.
Enjoy yourself ! |

Liverpool. Good city and people. And in first week of June theres an old traditional Romany Gypsy Horsefair in Appleby a small rural town 100 miles north of Liverpool in some nice countryside which is a good scene and unique. There are some good festivals around too which are fun.
In June Liverpool hosts an awesome free African festival in a huge park.
I spent last July lost on the canals on a boat which was weird but cool. |
