I actually had favorite parts on certain subjects. I always liked geometry better than the algebra part in maths. I always liked dynamics and statics parts of physics but hated the electric subjects.I loved organic chemistry but didn't enjoy the rest much.Genetics was my favorite in biology but never liked the rest. But i liked history always, all of it. |

I hated Maths all through my student life thanks to a maths teacher calling me "salak" in front of whole class, anyway, I hated Philosophy - again the main reason was the teacher - but English, Turkish, Geography, Biology were my favourites, I still like answering university entrance questions every year:))) |

International Law gave me such a hard time! Ugh! the memorizations! To think that I contemplated on wanting to be a lawyer. But don't be scared. I took up my master's after things settled down for me (somewhat) I guess the trauma came from studying while trying to balance kids and family life. Since you have a lot ahead of you and less strings to hold you down, I'm sure those subjects won't be as scary as you think since you have the advantage of age on your side. Imagine studying (or at least trying to study) and then hearing, "Mommy, I can't sleep without you.", "Mom! Shawn is bothering me!" You get my point ^_^
Most favorite subject was International Security. If you ask my son, his favorite subjects are recess and dismissal. Least favorite? Academics. |

I disliked all social sciences. I mean, can there be a better way to make highschool social science curriculum more repelling?
I am a reader of history now, but wasn't in school.
I disliked religion, too. I am more knowledgable in world religions now and read things with interest. But I strongly object to memorizing voices and moves I don't understand. That's a strong repellent for children from religion, I can tell you.
I have always been strong in positive sciences. Maybe that's the reason I am a questioner, not an accepter. |
