Where's the best place to holiday in Turkey?

I'm thinking of going on holiday to Turkey. I want a resort that's close to a beautiful beach with a romantic setting. I also want there to be lots of activities on offer such as canyoning and watersports. Where would be the best place to go?

Antalya, especially Belek in Antalya, as Is this Google Answers suggested. It is full of wonderful hotels and long, sandy golden beaches.
Fethiye/Ölü Deniz
Bodrum (Türkbükü, Gümbet, Turgutreis, Gündoğan, any place in Bodrum is fantastic)

If you want a very interesting vacation, then you can also try the tree houses of Olympos.

If you go to Fethiye, make sure to visit Butterfly Valley

Wherever you go, you will find lots of activities related to watersports, so don't worry about it.

Qu'est ce que tu pense?
Go to Belek. It's very close to Antalya. The beaches there are very gorgeous and the hotels are wonderful! They also have many water-sports along the beach such as jet skiing and dolphin boats, etc. But I also think you'd enjoy ANY city that's near the coastline. They all provide the things that you've mentioned.

Gumbet just next to Bodrum, nice!

Guess who
KAS, that is the best place that i have ever been, it was much like the keys in Florida, as far as layed back attitude and atmosphere, the B&Bs are so quaint and even an ex -pat bar called * harries* of all things, and on top of that, the mountains are not far away, and then there are big towns within an hour or so away, so i would say that KAS is the best place to visit, Good luck ..

We go to a place called Club Letoonia in Fethiye.

I love it there it is an A.I. and great value for money. I do not usually go back to a place twice but will be my fourth visit in September.

It is a great place for a relaxing holiday or if you want a great place for exploring and not far from Blue Lagoon.

this is an awesome resort, its 1st class and a really romantic place

Mr Rosenkrantz
Practically any of the major resorts on the south coast to be honest. I don't think Turkey's beaches are brilliant - it's a bit rocky - but aside from that there are loads. The area around Bodrum is rather nice.

Dr Alexi
This may not be very helpful as you are looking for Turkey, but the region of Bordeaux in France is perfect for meeting the criteria.
