Where In Europe Are There Significant British Communities?

I don't mean where do Brits go on holiday, I mean expat communities where people stay for at least a couple of months.

Spain, France, and here in Cyprus. We live in Xylofagou, about 8K from Agia Napa, and we have a good mix of ex-pats and Cypriots alike, and there is a great sense of 'community' here.
We actually live here, but our neighbours on one side are pensioners, who stay for up tofour months at a time, taking short breaks back in the U.K., and our neighbours on the other side are Cypriots. With surrounding houses often just used in the summer months as holiday homes or lets.

Spain and Paphos in Cyprus, I'm shore there are others. Cyprus has the advantage of English being spoken widely:
Both pleasant climates year round.

Well, that is where they are, in the same places that Brits like to go on holiday...

If Brits move abroad, it is normally to an english speaking location such as the USA or Australia, and therefore they don't form communities because they don't have to.

It is only when they move to non-english speaking places that they tend to huddle together just so they have someone to talk to and Brits only move to places that they go on holiday to.

So you're looking at South of France, Spain, Malta...

Italy, Sicily.
