I live in Sardinia, an island of Italy.
My city is Cagliari, the Sardinia’s capital and biggest town, with a busy industrial port. Despite its size the old centre is charmingly compact, contained within the city walls and Pisan fortifications. The main attractions are the National Archaeological Museum, which contains prehistoric tombs, "bronzetti" of Sardus Pater and little statues of Mother goddess and other significant artefacts from the Punic and Roman periods...
In Cagliari there is a National Picture Gallery, the Cardu Siamese Museum and a collection of anatomical waxes by Florentine sculptor, Clemente Susini, and artefacts from all the ancient cultures of the island, including ceramics from Phoenician tombs, Punic jewellery and Nuragic bronzes. The Picture Gallery contains a collection of contemporary art and sculpture.
Our beach is " Poetto"... Four-mile (6km) stretch of sandy beach with some small bars nearby.
My city is very very beautiful...You 're welcome... |

Greece, of course. Thousands of years of history and cultural tradition, the most beautiful islands in the whole world, marvelous local cuisine, and a unique night life.
Alternatively I would suggest Italy, which has the most beautiful cities in the world, but no particularily good sea sides and nightlife.... |

First, if you relocate to Europe, you should change your nickname. "Stasi" was the name of the "Staatsssicherheitsdienst", thats the secret service in the German Democratic Republic. Thos people were responsible for all the shootings at the Berlin wall and for the complete control of anybody living and visiting the former German Democratic Republic.
But now lets answer your question:
The fascinating thing in Europe is that you have so many different cultures and also different ways of life. There is no "best place" because it depends on your personal intentions. I could write hours explaining all the different aspects of Europe.
However, I would suggest you think about Austria. First, it's a very safe country and small enough that there is no threat of any international military intervention. Second, it's part of the European Union so that you have free border crossing to all the other EU states. Third, you will find a large variety of landscape, starting from the vast plains of Lake Neusiedl in the east and the wonderful lakes in Carinthia in the South to the Alps with the famous Grossglockner street that leads you up to the glaciers, the wonderful ski resorts in Tyrol and Salzburg like Kitzbuehel and of course you must not forget the UNESCO world heritage cities Salzburg - the place of Mozart and Sound of Music - and Vienna, from where the former emperors ruled the Austrian Empire which was one of the biggest in the world.
Also the people there are very friendly and everybody lerns English from the age of 7 years, so also there is no communication problem as you will have in France, Italy and so on.
And at last, in Austria you are in the heart of Europe and you can easily visit the other countries because Austria is centrally located.
Good luck - and before you think about relocating you should spend some time to travel around Europe to find "your" place! |

Out of all the places I've been I have to say that Barcelona has been my favourite. Beautiful city, architecture, beach, people, tapas etc.
If I was in my late teens or early twenties I would head to Amsterdam though, plenty of work and a great buzz around the place, very hip, lively and young city. |

Definitely Sweden. It's big, quite, clean, safe and very beautiful. Stockholm has been voted Europe's sexiest city and with good reason. Built on 14 islands and surrounded by clean water it's a wonderful place to visit. Plus, everyone speak English! Sorry Paris you need to try harder:) |

Hmmm... For cities I would say Amsterdam and Nice. In terms of touring, you should find alpine villages in the Alps, and travel the "Romantic Road" In Germany. If Beaches are your thing, avoid France and Italy and got to the Greek islands. To feel at home and un-resentful of the people around you, I'd say Sweden. It really depends upon your appetite. |
