Where To go on holiday for a group of teenage lads? |
Me and me mates are planning to go on holiday for sometime in July when we break up for college... we are all going to be 17 when we go so we wanted to go somewere where our ages wont be a problem for example like drinking alcahol, checking into a hotel etc...
Ive had a few places in mind which are Cyprus, Italy, Malta or portugal and just wanted other peoples opinions to where you think we should go consedering our age. Were looking for somewere with a great beach, maybe even some beach bars, good lively nightlife, cheap booze, hot girls, water parks... just basically somewere we can go and have the time of our lifes.

Ok we have narrowed it down to Zante or Cyprus.
Just wanted to know a few more things before we decide.
1. what country has the better exchange rate i.e. where will we get more food and drink for our money?

Magaluf, ibiza or anywhere in Spain.
Malta, although stunning could be abit quiet for you.
My friends lad went to magaluf last year (grop of 8 lads aged 19) and they had a great time.
Playa de Ingles in Gran Canaria may also be an idea as its a busy town with loads of clubs, pubs and stuff.
If I were you I'd go with ya mates to a travel agent, tell them what you want and they should be able to help.
Direct holidays is also meant to be a good website for booking hols and sky travel. |

Playa de las Americas, Tenerife.
The centre of town nightlife on Veronicas strip and the Starco centre is very compact, with dozens of bars literally on top of each other. Clubs like Tramps get the well known DJs in doing the summer circuit.
The fantastic Siam Park, water park only opened in September last year.
The tower of power near vertical slide scares you silent. The artificial beach with the huge wave machine is pretty cool too.

If you're all only going to be 18 then although flying and drinking and stuff will be fine - booking accomodation won't.
You may have to ask parents or something to book the hotel using their cards. |

Check if you can book, as you might need one person over 18 to sign the contract with whichever travel company you chose. |

Italy is very expensive, and malta is very quiet(i have been to both) but im not sure about cyrpus. Why not go to Zante or Malia, i have been on girly hols to both these places...i would advise staying just outside of the main tourist centres so you can actually get a nice kip and some decent food but partying is only a short walk away. You are also pretty much guaranteed sun in these greek islands as well as no age restrictions...have fun but be safe :) |
