Anywhere you like if you employ the A Team 'get-BA-in-a-plane' ruse.

Seriously though, I'd reccomend getting the ferry to Guernsey. Went last year and it is one of the most chilled-out places I've ever been. Great food, great scenery, lovely people. All the best things about France but without our beloved Norman cousins...

bethdimas
what about a cruise, then you can go anywhere and everywhere, lucky you

depends on where you live, but generally the train is great b/c you get to see tons of countryside and can go to multiple destinations.

almost all of europe is accessable my car so long as you don't mind driving, and most of the large countries are also accessable by train I once went from the uk to german by train very easy and straight forward

Do you drive?

If you drive you can take the eurotunnel(from folkstone in england) and have a nice driving holiday.

XxXxPinkPrincessxXxX
try france you can go over by boat

Do what I do every year, go on coach journeys to Southern Italy. You SEE the Alps ( you have to go through them ! ) and then you travel via Milan, Florence and Rome to Naples and on to either Sorrento, very close to Pompeii and the Isle of Capri. IF this is of interest to you, contact Me and I'll tell you the Co. AND the cost

Depending where in the UK you live,(some ports are easier to get to than others), you can go all over Europe even up to Denmark or Sweden. There is a great deal of places you can go without flying. Or you could always stay in the Uk as we have got some of the best places to visit in the world. Scotland is great there is so much to see and do as has Wales and Ireland too. Happy hunting for a holiday and I hope you find somewhere nice.

Boris
Go by channel tunnel, then the whole of Europe is at your feet.

TEACAKE
You can go to Belgium Holland Germany France Spain all by coach and or ferry and eurostar either that or go on a cruise and the world is your oyster. This option is a bit more drastic leave them at home and go with someone else this might make them go for hypnosis or similar flying is the safest form of transport after all.

Alistair B
