My husband and I went to Greece this past April. We had a 9-day trip, 4 days of which we spent cruising. We went to Athens, Tripoli, Mykonos, Kusadasi (Turkey), Rhodes, Patmos, Crete and Santorini. It was fabulous! I loved Rhodes for the shopping and Patmos for the exquisite island beauty.

I spent some days in the island of Aegina (my father is from there) , very beautiful and not far from Athens.
Then i went to Kea (Tzia). I liked most the capital city (Χώρα) of the island, Ioulis. The monastery of Panagia Kastriani and ancient Karthaia .
I had a great time there .

Milos and Santorini! I don't have to say much about either of these islands as they're my favorite ones and I've been going there for the past 3 years...

This may, my family and i stayed in Athens for 3 days and then in Corinth for 5. Athens is my favorite city in the world! Especially the Placa! Very good restaurants in there! I suggest the spaghetti or yuro! Yum!!! Also you can get very good gelato there. the stores there are a bit overpriced, but that's because the placa is big on tourists, so be careful with that. But in the Placa they have the narrow little streets with the vines growing up on the buildings, high iron balconies, totally European type thing. I love that. the mall is also very nice!!! The movie theatre in there is the nicest theatre I've ever been in!! Stadium seating, soft chairs, clean! very nice. Also lots of cute clothing stores!!!! the metro will take you directly there!

I went to Tinos and Kefalonia. I liked them because of the friendly people, the nice beaches, wonderful food, and not a lot of foreign tourists. I also visited Mykonos and Paros, Thessaloniki and Halkidiki.

Naxos. I love the monuments it has (ancient Greek temples and quarries with unfinished sculptures, Byzantie churches, etc.), the beaches (among the top 3 islands I've been to in this aspect), and the food (found some great mexican restaurants, specially Escoba).

well for many years I have been going to my mom's birthplace, Kyparissia, which is near Pylos...nothing great about it but you should definitely try the roast pork they make which is a local specialty...

Santorini. A pearl of an island with an azure anchorage in the beautiful cobalt mediterannean.

Spent three weeks there at anchor during circumnavigation of the world on a sailboat.

I was 3 times already...and I would go back 20 times more...and I will...becuse I want to see every part of it !!!
