You could try the area between Bordeaux and Royan or La Rochelle: lots of beach and some good window-shopping and food, not to mention wine!

try the french riviera. beaches galore, but stuff to do in the towns too.

Lord Percy Fawcette-Smythe.
Try Ile de Noirmoutier on the West coast of France, Med climate at half the cost, plenty of cities around plus easy access

Come to Cyprus!! Agia Napa, Larnaca, Lemessos, Paphos, Polis.....plenty of good beaches, but also, lots to see and do. Troodos mountains are worth a look at too;

Or, try this one;
www.soul-adventure.com

This is a new venture, hopefully, will be up and running by late spring. Based in Serbia, but hopes to appeal to all tastes, from lying on a beach, to sightseeing, and on to adventure....all with your own host on hand 24 hours a day to help arrange your day.
