Lake Como, Italy drips charm and romance, attracts with its backdrop of the pre-Alps, its sub-tropical climate and the visual contrasts in colors and textures. In the middle of the lakes, around Tremezzo and Bellagio, olive trees and orange trees will have you wondering if you aren't, after all, in Tuscany. The Mediterranean fishing villages on the shores of the lake and the blazing sunshine will have you wondering whether this isn't Liguria.

Finland is surely that cool, actually throughout the whole summer! And we have seashore too...

Ireland has a temperate climate and never gets beyond 22c in summer. It's a small island with miles of unspoilt beaches and great forest and hill walks.
But you already know that !
Go on, give it a try.

The coast of Germany. But you have to decide between the North Sea (German: Nordsee) and the Baltic Sea (German: Ostsee), they're very different.
However you might enjoy walking over the levee at the North Sea You could also be interested in wandering through the tidal flats of the Wadden Sea. (You have to do this with a guide however, otherwise it is too dangerous)

Ireland. It usually never gets hotter than 80 degrees F and it has great scenery.

England. It's pretty by the sea, at places like Devon, Dover, Cornwall and the Isle of Wight, but quite cool. Even if its hot, you're guaranteed a breeze!

Ebby
Also Holland is also not too hot and you can swim in August

Shelly
ENGLAND it will probably rain ;(

Arri
Lake District - Cumbria.

Not to hot.
Not awful weather.
I go every year.

I second england. The clouds often pours out its tears here and its near the sea which gives a nice view to it

The weather in Europe is kind of unpredictable, but north of Europe is the coldest in august, but I don't know if it will be beneath 27 degrees (C) in august, august is the hottest time in the summer.
But yeah, north is the coldest and maybe you could go to Denmark, it has coasts. Also Norway, Finland and Sweden.

Orla C
Ireland. Mind you, it can be very wet.

It has to be Scotland. You have magnificent scenery, wonderful beaches, hills to climb, rivers to fish. The nicest people in the world to meet and I can absolutely guarantee that the temperature will be under 27 degrees!

England is a good choice, especially Devon and Cornwall, which are in the South West. They are beautiful holiday spots, they have countryside and busy cities, and have lots of walks and hikes you can partake in. There are also award-winning beaches. I would recommend Dawlish in Devon, or Newquay in Cornwall.

I hope you have a good time wherever you choose to go!

Not by the sea but great for walkers Austria (Tyrol), Switzerland and Italian lakes - mild, pleasantly warm Auguet/September. Italy would be hotter but a good combination for walking and water (even if it's not the sea)
