a romantic greek island, such as Patmos, Rhodes, Santorini

Santorini - Greece or Hydra - Greece, they will take you traditionally on the donkey to the church and big feast with music and good food outdoors afterwards.

I was at a wedding in Dubrovnik, Croatia, in September, and it was beautiful. It's relatively cheap, almost everybody speaks English, the people are polite, welcoming and friendly, it's a good location for travelling elsewhere on your honeymoon (e.g. go towards Italy and then mainland Europe, or south to Greece, or east to Asia and so on). It's a fabulous country, so very beautiful, with fascinating history. I can't recommend it highly enough.
