Where are you now?
How far do you want to travel?
By air or Ferry/Chunnel?
We are in England, and our most successful holidays with kids was to go camping in Brittanny. The camp sites are excellent and child friendly; good beaches. Take your own equipment or hire ready-erected tents or a caravan.
A little further afield, Cyprus is good for kids because it has a history of English involvement so there is no problem with feeding a child who might be wary of strange and foreign food. The shops have everything you can find in England, plus local and Greek foodstuffs, too.
If you are interested in camping or caravanning and not too far from Birmingham and the NEC, there is a Camping, Caravanning, Boating exhibition on in February with reps from Camp sites all over Europe and plenty of literature. |

The algarve is a lovely place to visit if you haven't already been!!
there is lots to do, zoo marine, jeep Safari, horse riding and a few swimming parks to pick from too...
AH....NO NOT PRAIA DA ROCHA!
I worked there for 5 years in a few different bars! and all i did was listen to complaints of the tourist! i must admit the beach is gorgeous! and a few nice restaurants, but if i was to recommend a resort, it would have to be Albufeira! lots to do, and its close to everything, including the airport! |

Zuid-Holland in the Netherlands is a good place, lots of kiddie attractions there like Madurodam, Elfteling, and other big amusement parks, plus there's the sea, cycling, walking, forests, and all kinds of kid-friendly museums.
If you want to see more, go to www.vvv.nl, that's the Dutch tourist information website.
Wherever you end up, have a nice holiday! |

Praia da Luz, Portugal
You can just leave your kids in the apartment while you have a meal, or at least use this excuse if you've killed your own. |

Salou in Spain is great. Very cheap package deals to be found online & tonnes to see and do to keep the kids entertained.
Local theme + water parks, great beaches with water sports, local shopping town with great shops to suit everyone + the majority of hotels are beach front.
have a look online + research. |

Nerja on the Costa del Sol. It's a lovely Spanish town by the sea. It has cove like beaches. The surrounding scenery is awesome. It is a beautiful little town about an hour from Málaga airport.
I live close by. |
