Where is better to live Paris, London, or Holland? |
I just moved to London from Toronto on a complete whim. Canada's second language as many of you may know is french, however I am not fluent. But before I left I had some tutors and was starting to pick up quickly (i also come from an island which is french colonised) so I do have a history with the language.
However, since living here (for four months), I am not all that fond of London, mainly because of the energy. I know I don't really want to spend the rest of my life here... as a matter of fact, it's hard to say that I can really live here for a long time with the exception that I can travel and work here with indefinite leave to remain.
I will be going to France for 10 days, and I've heard wonderful things about Holland - that people are really cool there.
If you to serious choose between the three, which one is the best place to live? |

Identify who you are first!! Get in touch with your inner needs/self/soul!!
A city, town, place, etc. is defined by many things: job, bf/gf, climate, night life, quietness, location, water, etc.
It sounds like you are single, young and can easily move about so do it all now before marriage, children, career, etc. stabilize you.
P.S. Where in Holland?
My choice: move about Europe as long as you like until you "lock" on to your place. I love Warren, Switzerland for example.
Good luck. |

IN MY OPINION PARIS BECAUSE ITS A VERY BEAUTIFUL PLACE AND SPEAKING FRENCH IS A PLEASURE . THERE ARE MANY TOURIST SPOTS IN THE CITY AND THERE IS SOURCE OF EMPLOYMENT AS THE ECONOMIC SITUATION OF THE COUNTRY IS VERY GOOD . YOU WILL ENJOY IN LONDON AND HOLLAND AS WELL BUT PARIS IS MORE INTERESTING . |

On the one hand you're talking about cities, and on the other a country.
Personally, I'd never live in France -- just because. London is too big. Holland is very laid back and liberal, but a nice country.
I've been to all 3, but I think I'll just stay in the USA for now. |

@ohigan and 2001 Maniacs : I'm French and I didn't know I didn't loved all those who are not French... If you come in France with such prejudices I understand you don't succeed in making friends ! Don't blame the French for what you're responsible for. |
