Central Portugal, It's like going back in time, in the villages they still plough the fields with oxen and even in some of the towns they carry their shopping bags on their heads, every town has a market once a week and throughout the summer every village has it's own festival, you could travel to a different one every weekend, it's beautiful but it won't be like it for long so get there soon!! and they love foreigners too |

Try this circuit we did last year:
Disneyland Paris- fly budget to Billund, Denmark for Legoland, train to Stockholm, ferry to Helsinki, train to Rovaniemi, Finland for Santa Claus village and Arctic Circle, budget flight back to Paris and onwards back home.
Excellent circuit for kids and parents. |

There are so many places where to start but if i was to pick one it would have to be malta. The people are great loads of interesting places to visit. Not very big so you can explore all around and there are smaller island that you can also visit. Food and drink and weather are all good as well |
