i think it depends on what your really looking for.
if you want :
hot and sunny all year round try: grece, spain, cyprus.
cold allyear round ( with great mountaniuos views and winter sports) try : norway, finland all the nordic countries ( NOT RUSSIA I THINK ITS A LITTLE TOO PRIMITIVE)( NO OFFENCE TO ANYONE)
moderate climate all year round ( cold winters, hot summers ) try eastern europe. i have been to romania, and its rgreat. the image pictured by the western civilisation is preworked. romania is really cool, and has nice beaches, adn lovely mountains. the view are great and everything is so much cheaper, but as great as other well kown places. |

Southern Spain!!! The weather is like that of Southern California, but without the noise traffic and pollution. The history here is amazing! Cadiz is said to be one of the oldest cities in the world. The beaches are beautiful, the people are warm and friendly, and though I'm still adjusting to the food, the local bars open at 9 am so I'm set!! lol Spain is a very laid back country, people here work to live not live to work. Working is just something that has to be done so that they will have the money to go out and hang with friends or whatever their choice of activity may be. It's absolutely beautiful here, and I wouldn't have it any other way! |

Estonia. I lived there for two years, and I can tell you that the winters are DARK, the buses smell like garlic, the language is impossible to speak, the people are as cold as ice, yet it is one of the greatest places I've ever been to. Crazy man, crazy. |

2 Swiss cities were voted along with 2 Canadian as the best cities to live in the world.
Although I also believe that nothern countries (Norway,Britain,Germany etc) have many picturesque and beautiful places to live, nothing is compared with the"warmth"of the Mediterranean countries. And as I'm living in Greece,I can tell you with certainty that the greek countryside and the greek islands are a heavenly place to live...I am sure that many Italians,Spanish etc will agree with me about S.Europe. |
