My Office. I'm of Italian origin and got lots of italian culture from my childhood. Therefore I transformed my office to a micrography of an Italian rinascimental palace.
Authentic furniture from Roma e Firenze, Italian and some Flemish paintings, arazzi (wall carpets) e vari oggetti can travel you in another place and time, since even the computers are well disguised. But all of a sudden there appears Pit, my pitbull, to land you abruptly to nowdays reality....

The most romantic place in my city is the old town of Rhodes.The medieval town, where youi ahve the oimpression that you ll hear the steps of the knights,, the narrow streets, especially the winter, and the rain falling on the pavements create an atmosfere of Romeo and Julliette...
Rhodes is one for me, and the whole island is a jewllery, not only because of its narural beauties, but also because of the italians who gave a note of Europe and contributed with their arrival in 1912 to the construction of this island , one of the most famous mediterranean destinations... |

When I'm in the Newcastle I think one of the most romantic places is in Jesmond Dene, on the old small bridge next to the waterfall. In Greece it's on the hill that gives a perfect view of the sunset, with the picturesque Byzantine churches completing the picture. |

The whole city of Thessaloniki is romantic. If I had to choose though, I would pick the old city (Ano Poli) and the view from Kastra by night. Just beautiful. |

The local lake that is surrounded by woodland and has lots of wildlife, its not easy to find and so its unspoilt by kids and Vandals and its beautiful both in the summer and winter too, especially as the sun is setting and reflects on the water !. |
