The whole Lisbon and surrounding places (Estoril, Cascais..) are very interesting and beautiful. You can also visit Fatima, Cabo da roca (European most western point/cape)... The best solution would be to rent a car. Have fun! |

Depends on what you want to do. In Lisbon you may find a beautiful city with an amazing river front and lots of interesting places to go. Long nights with intense nightlife. In the coast close to Lisbon you may find the amazing Sintra and Cascais coast.
In Algarve you'll find sandy and golden beaches full of people and loooong nights out. If you can be more specific about what you're looking for, i'll give you my best advice... |

Lagos on the Algarve, find the indoor fishmarket and go have drinks at the cafe with the orange trees planted on its patio, heaven! |

Whereabouts are you going, and how long are you staying? The Douro valley is nice at this time of year (although sometimes a bit too hot), Lisbon is fantastic, and the Algarve is still great (despite all the tourists!) |
