I'm afraid you don't have a lot of alternatives.You can go down to Capadokia but i would think twice since its too damn hot.You can go to Kızılcahamam. There are very nice resorts over there but again you may not want a thermal bath in the middle of the summer.Abant with a 2 hours drive can be considered but if you say '' since I come to Bolu, I can drive another hour '' you can go to Blacksea. |

Going to vacation again? I am getting jealous :p.
Definitely to Cappadocia but if you can arrange, wait until the last week of August or the first week of September since its going to be " baÄŸbozumu" time and the weather becomes fabulous.
I don't know if you tried any of those stone hotels of not but I would strongly suggest you to.
You can go valley hikes, horse riding or even fishing. |

I see you have some good advises here already. Just as an alternative you can visit Çorum and Amasya area. They are both nice cities.

I have been to Amasra and Capadocia. Both are beautiful. I also heard that Afyon and Kızılcahamam are good places to relax. |

My recommendation is Abant like Mertev said and far from 2 hour from Ankara ...
There was a fish restaurant next to lake (I do not remember name - very close Buyuk Abant Hotel), it was very nice and try their yogurt, Perfect ...

there is a little town called sandıklı (in Afyon thats) they have a kaplıca, you can hire a flat or a room there, its water is full of goodness and place is kind of cute and different... |
