Wheres warm begining of october? |
Hi all, me and me missus have the 1st 2 weeks in october off and are after somewhere to go within 4 hours flight ish! I have 2 key factors 1st! 1. WEATHER, where is gonna be warm(ish) and 2. which resorts are still open? cause id hate to arrive somewhere and all the bars to be shut, and it cold n raining!
Thanx for all help and time in assisting me with my holiday plans

Hi Carl. For me it's no contest, Costa del Sol everytime. I have often been during 1st week of October, and it's great. The weather is still hot (in the 80's), there's plenty to do, you don't need a car as local transport is cheap &efficient and food & drink is not only very reasonably priced but it's good too. You'll get a 3 course meal, with wine, for around £7.00 and a pint for under £1.00. As a matter of interest, I've just done an exercise and found return flights from Gatwick on Sat.29th, and 2 weeks apartment rental in Benalmadena, my favourite place, for a total of £454 for two people. Canaries, Madeira, Cyprus, Malta, Morocco, Tunisia and Turkey. All very pleasant and warm, enough for a swimm... |

Canaries (Las Playas Americas) but certainly no where else unless long haul then its Vegas its always alive 24 /7 I have been there a many times and never get fed up with it// but not cheap Carl but if money is no problem break your rule of 4 hrs and settle for 11 with Virgin the hours go quickly so much activity on board the Jumbos |
