It would be hard to go wrong anywhere in Europe. It really depends on your interests and when you want to go. There are lots of things to see and do here in Italy right now and the weather is great right now. Or there's the Czech Republic and Hungary. France is interesting. I like Eze and Nice. In about a month, the garden at Keukenhof will be at it's peak in the Netherlands. It was pretty nice last weekend even though it was snowing. Or there's Germany. You could stay in Munich and take excursions through Bavaria and visit Nurnberg, and Ulm. or base yourself in Frankfurt and see Koblenz, Mainz, Heidelberg, and Marberg.
I've done all the above and would gladly repeat any of the trips. |

I'm half greek, and me and my family went to Greece before my parents separated. It was our last vacation together. It was so much fun, too. |

How about a week in London. In my opinion the best city in the world. But then I am biased being a Londoner. |

Try Montenegro. It has a beautiful scenery but also a lot of historical places. The people are friendly and hospitable. You can look about it here

Not considered by some as Europe I would go to Malta. April and May is the perfect time to go there. The people are great and the pace is relaxed and peaceful. You can grab a table overlooking the Mediterrian, explore the beautiful churches, tour the multitude of historical sites and buildings.
All things you can do at your own pace and totally relax and enjoy just being alive. |

Every European country has something interesting!!! It depends on waht do you rather (nature, culture, beach, clubbing, skiing), Personally I'm very interested on North or Central European countries, cause I don't know that part of Europe, but the Mediterranean countries are very special. Try one of the former Yugoslavia countries (Dubrovnik in Croatia is a really fabulous town), Italy, south France, Portugal, Spain, Greece and Turkey are healthy, friendly, funny and beautiful.
But also Scandinavia is great, Poland (with excellent cities, not just Warsaw or Krakow), the imperial cities (Prague, Vienna, Budapest), the rural enchant of Romania...
Hard answer, sorry... ;-) |

Ireland! It is so beautiful and green! And it's not crowded and noisy like some of the other ones mentioned. It's just a perfect place to relax and take nice deep breaths of fresh, clean air.... omg! I could go on and on.... thanks! |

I'm off to Madeira next week which is one of my favourite places. The Portuguese like the English (!) the weather is good and gentle mostly - gets pretty hot in August - but being an island is prone to the odd shower.
Not a good place to go if you have kids (no sandy beaches except for one on the East coast right in the industrial area!) and not a lot of noisy night life although there is a Casino.
Food is good and not expensive.
If you want a short break we've recently had a small brochure from Voyages Jules Verne (www.vjv.com) featuring 2-5 night breaks at various places around the World. Looks interesting |

Provence is a wonderful area of Southern France. For an Englishman to suggest you go to France you know it has to be somewhere stunning. |

Well I'll tell you where I'd like to go, but ultimately it's up to you dear. I'd love to visit the place of some of my ancestors, Italy. I'd go to the Tuscany area and drink in all the beauty of what I've only seen in books or on tv. :D You're welcome. |

Go to the Czech Republic and stay in Prague. Prague is incredible. You can do only a bit more than scratch the surface in a week, but you'll really enjoy it. |
