Privately I do like Santorini and the Island of Crete.

But the real beauty are the tiny unknown small islands with all their natural beauty and no rogue stomping and destroying tourists.

The Aegean Sea has about 1,415 islands and islets, of which 1,395 belong to Greece.

The best of the best are those little specks of volcanic or marble rock with small secluded beach and crystal clear water.

That is the well kept secret of Aegean - a pieces of paradise on Earth.

We have been to most of the bigger Greek islands and to Parga on the mainland. We have enjoyed them all in different ways. The Greeks are very welcoming and I'm sure wherever you go you will enjoy it.

I love Leukada! It is beautiful.
Santorini is amazing and Mikonos is where you have to go if you want to party!
Any Greek island you go to will be amazing, so I can't really name any island without writing a whole novel!

All three of them have their own beauty and way of life. This depends what you are looking for. I would choose Rhodes the island of roses.

Depends on how long you are staying. If it is less than a keed then prefer something smaller that you have the time to both explore it and enjoy the night life. I am from Crete so that's definitely your destination if you are coming for more than a week. Lot's of places for sightseeing and rich nightlife too. Do not go to Heraklion though... Except if you just visit Knossos :)

violin 4 life
cyprus is not a greek island, it is a seperate island and country on its own (i live in cyprus) and it is a beautiful country to come and visit!!!
